SUMMER INTENSIVE: Intermediate/Advanced (Level 1 & 2)

(Dancers ages 10-21 or students currently enrolled in Ballet 6 through Professional Division)

Placement in Intermediate/Advanced Level 1 is for dancers currently enrolled in Ballet 6, Ballet 6B, or by teacher recommendation.

Placement in Intermediate/Advanced Level 2 is for dancers currently enrolled in Ballet 7, Ballet 7B, and Professional Division, or by teacher recommendation, live audition or video audition.

If applying via video audition, it should be no more than 10 minutes in length and contain the following: one side of barre work that includes plies, tendu, degage, develop and grand battement. In center you should include an adagio, a pirouette combination that includes pirouette en dehors from 4th, and a petit allegro.

Both Levels will meet beginning on Monday, June 5th, 2023. Classes will meet from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday and 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday. Dress code* is leotard, your choice of colors, pink convertible tights, flat shoes, and pointe shoes.

All dancers should have a basic black leotard and black short wrap skirt for final presentation that will be held in the EPAC studios Saturday, June 17th, 11:30am - 2:00pm. This presentation is open to family and friends.

*All students will need a basic black camisole leotard, short black wrap skirt, convertible tights, soft ballet shoes, pointe shoes, character shoes, jazz shoes, a yoga mat and foam roller.
